Our Story

When David Napolitano saw a need for great sourdough breads in Sioux Falls, he converted a garage stall into a commercial wholesale bakery and began selling his breads at local farmers markets and specialty stores in Sioux Falls.  One year and six months later he opened Breadico; his own brick and mortar bakery located in the popular East Bank district of downtown Sioux Falls.

 Today, Breadico is a downtown staple that offers a variety of sourdough breads as well as specialty deli sandwiches and wood-fired pizzas that are fired out of our hand-built wood-fired oven.

 

Breadico has been featured in both local and international press including South Dakota Living Magazine, Wholesome Magazine, The New York Times, La Presse of Montreal Canada, and has been featured in an episode of South Dakota Public Broadcasting's Savor South Dakota.
